Donald B. Pfretzschner, DVM

Dr. Don Pfretzschner is a third generation Denver Native. He attended the Colorado School of Mines and Colorado State University, receiving his doctor of veterinary medicine in 1976. He has practiced in the Westminster/Broomfield area for more than 40 years. His interests include dermatology, ophthalmology, and surgery. His other interests are a wide variety of outdoor activities and wood and metal crafts. While growing up, participated in 4H raising rabbits, chickens, and calf fattening

Theresa Todack, DVM

Theresa is a Colorado native that completed a bachelor’s in environmental health and her DVM at Colorado State University. She practiced in Aurora and Castle Rock before arriving at Arrowhead Animal Hospital, P.C. She enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband and corgi. She also sings in a community choir.

Jadid Johnson, DVM

Dr. Jadid Johnson earned his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Iowa in 1987. He then began working at a small animal hospital in Wheat Ridge where he worked for 29 years. After that he worked for 6 months at an animal shelter in Evans, Colorado, followed by 2 ½ years at Broadlands Veterinary Clinic in Broomfield. He joined us here at Arrowhead Animal Hospital, PC in March of 2019. When not working, he enjoys fishing, boating, hiking and camping.

Curtis Cordell, DVM

Dr. Curtis Cordell is a 1993 graduate of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Dr. Cordell practiced in the NW Indiana/Chicago area for 11 years following graduation. For 3 years during that time, he interned at a surgical practice and subsequently began to develop a surgical referral practice. In 2005, he returned to Colorado to be closer to family, and worked at several practices before finding a home at Arrowhead Animal Hospital, P.C. Along with surgery, Dr. Cordell includes pain control and weight management among his professional interests. During his leisure time he enjoys playing golf, and entertaining friends and family in his home. He also likes woodworking, including building custom furniture and an ongoing reclaimed flooring project. He also has two dogs that enjoy as much exercise as they can get.

Megan Field, DVM

Dr. Megan Field received her veterinary degree from Kansas State University in 2010. She was born and raised in Kansas City and practiced for 8 years in Kansas as a general practitioner. She moved to Colorado with her husband, who is a Denver native, and joined Arrowhead Animal Hospital, PC in 2018. Her areas of interest include ophthalmology and pediatrics. When not at work, she enjoys going to movies, seeing live music, and spending time with the three main men in her life – James (her husband), Pendleton (her Russian Blue cat), and Hermie (her Shih Tzu).
